Excelsior Milano takes great care to respect the Privacy of its customers and the visitors to its Website. Therefore, before providing your data, please read the following information which explains who we are, why we are collecting your data, how we will use them and what your rights are.

By subscribing to our newsletter, Excelsior Milano S.r.l., in its quality as Data Controller, might contact you (e.g. by sending you a newsletter, e-mail, instant messages, posts, messages or communications of social network initiatives, etc.) in order to keep you updated on our products, initiatives and services, or invites you to take part in market research.

The processing will take place throughout the period of your subscription and is thus based on your specific consent, which may be withdrawn at any given time (even by simply using the link present in our newsletters); thereafter, the data will be destroyed or anonymised. 

We remind you that by communication to be sent to customercare@excelsiormilano.com, may at any time access your data, update or erase the data, withdraw or amend your consent, and receive the data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, without prejudice to your right to withdraw or amend at any time whatsoever consent to data processing you might have granted. You may also lodge a complaint before the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it), or to the Data Protection Authority of the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.

a) Data Controller:

Excelsior Milano S.r.l., with registered office in Mestre (VE), via Maderna no.11, VAT and fiscal code 04391470277 (hereinafter “Excelsior”), is the Data Controller; indeed it is the company that collects and processes your personal data and, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 679/2016 - “General Data Protection Regulation” (hereinafter the “GDPR”), it provides you with the following information. 

b)   Purposes of data collection:

Your data will be used to contact you (by Newsletter) for advertising or sales-related communications relative to exclusive benefits that Excelsior Milano and its commercial partners have reserved for those registered, and to find out how satisfied you are with the services we offer.

 

c) Mandatory data and optional data:

Should the data marked as “mandatory” (*) be omitted or only partially filled in, you will not be able to receive our Newsletter.

 

d) Your consent:

In order to contact you and send you advertising/sales-related material or to perform market research, we need your explicit consent pursuant to art. 6, par. 1, let. a) of the GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal, by sending an e-mail to customercare@excelsiormilano.com or, if you are registered to the Website, by accessing your reserved area.

 

e) How we process your data:

Your data will be processed, mainly by computer means, in compliance with the legislation in force and, in any case, in a way that ensures their safety, confidentiality and prevents unauthorized dissemination or use, falsification or destruction, for the only purpose of sending you our Newsletter. In particular, the data will be processed in compliance with the legislation in force - and any further amendment and/or addition - enacted by the Italian Data Protection Authority (including Guidelines on Marketing and against Spam - 4 July 2013 and Guidelines on personal data processing for on line profiling - 19 March 2015).

 

f)Storage period:

Your data will be processed for the entire duration of your registration to our Newsletter service or, in any case, until you will withdraw your consent,  being  understood that you have the right to withdraw such consent at any given time as better specified in this statement, Thereafter, the data will be destroyed or anonymized.

 

g) Who we communicate your data to:

Your data will not be disseminated and can come to the knowledge of (i) companies that, on our behalf, carry out services involving the filing and processing of ICT records and maintenance of our Website; (ii) companies that manage promotional activities (in this case limited to email addresses only). Said parties will operate as external Data Processors pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR: the names of all the external Data Processors can be required by contacting us using the contact details mentioned below.

Your data may come to the knowledge of the persons in charge of the processing and the data processors of the Marketing Department of Excelsior.

 

h) Your rights:

By sending a request to customercare@excelsiormilano.com  you may at any time exercise the rights provided for by articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, including requesting information on which data we are processing, in which manner and for which purpose we are using them, amending the data you have provided us or erasing them, asking us to limit use of your data or getting a copy thereof, and receiving them or transmitting them to another data controller.

Without prejudice to your right to withdraw or amend at any time whatsoever consent to data processing you might have granted and to object to the processing of your data carried out, in particular, for direct marketing purposes.

i) Complaint to the Data Protection Authority:

We remind you that, should you consider the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you may in any event lodge a complaint before the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it), or to the Data Protection Authority of the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.

-  obtaining the erasure of the personal data that concern you without undue delay;

-  obtaining the restriction of processing the personal data that concern you;

- being informed of any rectifications or erasures or restrictions of processing in relation to the personal data that concern you;

- receiving in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format the personal data that concern you;

- objecting at any time, on grounds associated with your specific situation, to the processing of the personal data that concern you.

The above is without prejudice to your right to withdraw at any time whatsoever consent to data processing you might have granted and to object to the processing of your data carried out, in particular, for direct marketing purposes.
