With your registration, Excelsior Milano S.r.l., with registerd office in Mestre (VE), via Maderna n.11, 30174, in its quality as Data Controller, may use the data you are providing by filling in this digital form to manage your purchases and create your personal reserved area within the Website.

Furthermore, should you grant us with your consent, we may use the data related to your purchases and your online browsing to better understand  your purchasing preferences and your tastes, in order to improve our commercial offer and our products and/or to contact you (by newsletter, telephone, e-mail, instant messages, posts, messages or social network initiatives, etc.) and keep you updated on our products, initiatives and services or to make you take part in market surveys.

You may complete your registration and proceed with your purchases even if you do not wish to grant us with your consent to analyse your preferences and/or receive commercial communications (including our Newsletter).

The processing will take place throughout your registration to the Website and, if you wish to give us the possibility to better understand your preferences and contact you, it will be based on the consent you have decided to grant us with, which may be withdrawn at any time. Your purchase data will be stored for a maximum period of 12 months from their registration for the purposes of analysing your tastes and preferences, or 24 months for the purpose of promotional and marketing initiatives.

By sending an email to customercare@excelsiormilano.com, you may at any time access your data, update or erase the data, revoke or amend your consent, and receive the data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format; in the event of any personal data breach, you may lodge a complaint with the Garante (Italian Data Protection Authority) for the protection of your personal data (www.garanteprivacy.it).

 a) Data Controller: 

Excelsior Milano S.r.l., with registered office and administrative headquarters in Mestre (VE), via Terraglio no.17, (hereinafter “Excelsior”), is the Data Controller; indeed it is the company that collects and processes your personal data and, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 679/2016 - “General Data Protection Regulation” (hereinafter the “GDPR”), it provides you with the following information. 

 

 b) Purposes of data collection: 

The data you will submit to us when filling in the following electronic form will be used to: (1) allow you to register on the Website by creating personal reserved area; (2) allow you to proceed in purchasing products, fulfill your obligations and exercise the rights which derive from the finalized contract; (3) fulfill our legal obligations deriving from laws, regulations and European community laws in relation to tax or accounting (invoicing, book and record keeping). 

Furthermore if you grant your consent, some of these data, and the data we collect from the analysis of you browsing the Website and your purchases, will be used to: (4) improve the Website and our range of products, allowing us to better know our customers, their interests, consumer and browsing habits; (5) contact you – by phone, post, email, text message, MMS – for commercial or advertising communications related to exclusive advantages that Excelsior and its commercial Partners reserve for the registered users, as well as to find out your level of satisfaction with the services we provide (also by means of market research); (6) send you customized commercial or advertising communications (based on our better knowledge of our customers and  their interests and consumer habits; (7) send you  the Excelsior’s Newsletter.  

The legal basis for processing your data will be the execution of a contractual relationship pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR for the purposes set out in points 1, 2 and 3 and your consent, if any, for our marketing and analysis activities in compliance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR for the purposes set out in points 4, 5, 6 and 7.

You may complete your registration and proceed with your purchases even if you do not wish to grant us with your consent. You are free to withdraw your consent at any time.

 

c) Mandatory data and optional data: 

Please fill in this form providing all the data requested as “mandatory” (*) as they are essential for the completion and shipment of your purchases; should these data be omitted or only partially filled in, it will not be possible to complete the registration and proceed with the purchase. Failing to provide the data marked as “optional” will simply not allow us to use your data for the purposes you did not grant your consent with (e.g. to send you customized communications).

 

d) How we process your data: 

Your data will be processed mainly by electronic means to manage its purchases, to take care of shipping and invoicing, as well as to manage the services reserved for the registered users and requested by you (e.g. the Wish List).

Should you grant us with your consent, we may analyse your data (i.e. data related to your purchases) to allow us to understand your tastes and desires in order to improve ourselves and provide you with customized and non-customized offers on our products (e.g. new collections) and initiatives (i.e. contests), and to contact you to include you in market surveys (i.e. by interview or telephone calls, e-mail, etc.).      

Furthermore, your consent will also allow us to monitor and analyze your browsing experience on the Website by using “cookies” in order to verify your browsing preferences and improve the services offered by the Website. For further information on how your data are processed when you browse the Website and how you can deactivate cookies, you can also check the Privacy Policy of the Website which can be accessed from the Home Page’s footer.

Please note that none of our analysis activity will be based solely on automated processing, but will always involve the intervention and evaluation of our employees.

 

e) Storage period:

Your data will be processed for the entire duration of your registration to the Website and thereafter they will be destroyed or anonymized (without prejudice to the storage of the data in compliance with legal obligations or administrative-accounting purposes).

Your purchase data will be stored for analysis or marketing purposes for a maximum period of 12 and 24 months from their registration, respectively.

 

f) Who we communicate your data to: 

Your data will not be disseminated and can come to the knowledge of (i) companies that, on our behalf, carry out services involving the filing and processing of IT records and website maintenance; (ii) companies appointed to manage warehouse logistics, the shipment of the products purchased and the relative customer care activities on behalf of Excelsior. Said parties operate as external Data Processors pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR: the names of all external data processors can be requested by contacting us at the details indicated hereinafter. 

Your data can be communicated to Banks/credit institutes (in relation to the management of the payment of your purchases). 

Your data may come to the knowledge of the persons in charge of the processing and the data processors of the Marketing and  Administration Departments of Excelsior.

 

g) Your rights:

By sending an email to customercare@excelsiormilano.com or using the form available in the Contact us section of the website (www.escelsiormilano.com/contact), you may at any time exercise the rights provided for by articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, such asrequesting information on which data we are processing, in which manner and for which purpose we are using them, amending the data you have provided us or erasing them, asking us to limit use of your data, and requesting receipt or transmission of your data to another data controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

You may at any time withdraw your consent to the processing and object to processing of personal data concerning you for marketing or preferences analysis purposes.

If it is preferable to you, you can withdraw your consent only as regards the receipt of communications in electronic format (i.e. e-mail, sms, instant messages). In this case, you will continue to receive commercial communications solely by paper mail or telephone contact with an operator, where applicable.

h) Complaint to the Data Protection Authority:

We remind you that, should you consider the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you may in any event lodge a complaint before the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it), or to the Data Protection Authority of the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.
