Ever wondered what’s going on beneath the surface of your down jacket? Thanks to Italian outerwear brand Goose Tech, your curiosity can now be satisfied. After years of R&D, Goose Tech has found a way to produce a down jacket with a see-through shell, allowing you to peer right through the skin to the filling. And because Goose Tech is a playful, experimental label, there’s plenty to see in there – a moving pattern of brightly coloured and neutral feathers and down.
The jackets’ polyurethane shells are fire resistant, waterproof, anti-allergenic, anti-mould and hard to stain. Each one is handmade and therefore unique. A key advantage of the transparent fabric is that it can be embellished with printed patterns. Taking full advantage of this feature, designer Martina Campanella has created a line of gorgeous jackets personalised with Excelsior logos. Cute-as-pie goose-down clutches and spectacle cases are also found in the collection.
