True to its heritage that draws inspiration from the high-performing Swiss army gear, the new season at Sempach takes its cue from the military world where function, resistance and practicality are in a league of their own. This season the collection draws from military sleeping bags, army parachutes from the 17er Kompanie and field tents, complete with their understated yet high-tech zippers, eyelets and drawstrings. A blend of form and function with a versatile urban edge that includes lean and fluid silhouettes and pockets with a special fastening system borrowed from army backpacks.

The four exclusive fabrics developed in house are padded and quilted nylon, ripstop nylon, army cotton satin with a polyester grind frame mesh and an ultralight extra fine padded cotton designed to be easily stored and compressed. All in black, blue, green, camouflage, white and khaki.

“Once again our team has succeeded in creating new materials and conceiving new ideas while staying true to the brand’s origins. This is our most appreciated aspect worldwide,” says Mauro Di Liddo, founder of Sempach.
